Junior Doctor to the Cardiology and Emergency Medicine Clinic, Summer Temporary Position 2026

In preparation for the summer vacation period weeks 23-34, we are seeking junior doctors for our departments at the cardiology and emergency medicine clinic.

Your Workplace

The Cardiology and Emergency Medicine Clinic provides cardiology and emergency medical care at the regional level and specialized cardiac care for the entire county. Here, all types of heart diseases are investigated and treated, with the largest groups being ischemic heart disease, heart failure, valve disorders, and arrhythmias.

The clinic has a cardiology ward that includes HIA, and a medical AVA. We perform pacemaker surgeries and have our own angiolab for angiographies and PCI. We conduct Day Care, Heart Clinics, research clinics, and specialist nurse clinics.

Job Responsibilities

Standard ward work including examination, investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients together with the responsible specialist doctor. Admissions and discharges of patients, referrals, and consultations, etc.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a doctor or medical student who has completed at least semester 10 by summer.

As a doctor, you communicate daily with colleagues and patients, so it is important that you have good communication skills and a great understanding of people's differences. Mastery of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a prerequisite. You who apply to us are meticulous, patient, secure as a person, and have a patient-focused working method.
